Medcadre is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced MS/Tele unit for a 16-week assignment starting on 10/23/2024. This night-shift position requires a highly skilled nurse comfortable in a busy environment with a focus on medical-surgical, orthopedic, post-surgical, and trauma care, as well as occasional oncology patients.
Job Details:
- Unit: MS/Tele (Med-Surg/Telemetry) - Ortho/Post-Surgical/Trauma/Oncology
- Shift: 4x12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15)
- Job Duration: 16 weeks
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Floating Required: Within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry
- BCLS certification
- Chemotherapy administration certification preferred
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, gastrointestinal, renal failure, IV, heparin/insulin/PCA, ortho, CVA, spinal cord, traumatic brain injury, and respiratory care
- Must pass a cardiac exam during orientation
- EMR experience (Meditech training provided)
