The WBDC is hiring for a Director, Entrepreneurial Program and Services and Director, Illinois Women's Business Center. This role is based in Peoria, IL. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Managing Director, Entrepreneurial Program and Services.

The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) is a 501(c)(3) nationally recognized leader in the field of women's business development and economic empowerment for over 30 years. The Role:
The Director, Entrepreneurial Program and Services develops and delivers programming that provides business development services and resources to nascent, emerging, and established entrepreneurs, including those that are economically disadvantaged and underserved.
The Director, Illinois Women's Business Center (WBC) supports the day-to-day operations of the Illinois WBC at the Women's Business Development Center. The Director, Illinois WBC oversees the WBC operations, its relationship with the State of Illinois, marketing the WBC and WBDC, and administrative and budgetary responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate WBDC Entrepreneurial programming and services.
- Administer and directs integrated WBC programs and services in the prescribed area, following applicable policies, procedures, Federal and State laws, regulations, and other governing documents.
- Deliver client advising, including assessing client needs and providing support.
- Establish and maintain relationships with other service providers, the local business community, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate internal resources and various subject-matter experts for execution of programming and services.
- Represent the WBDC at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.
- Work with marketing team to manage promotion of, and outreach for, workshops, events, and training sessions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Manage grant funding, including proposals, deliverables, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Adhere to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Women's Business Ownership (OWBO) objectives and goals.
- Align with the WBDC's overall strategic goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Solid business and financial acumen
- Strong organizational skills
- 5+ years of work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree (advanced degree is preferred)
- Passionate about women's issues and economic empowerment

The salary range for this position within the WBDC is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skillset.
