The Opportunity
We're seeking an exceptional Executive Business Partner to work directly with the CEO and leadership team. In this high-impact role, you'll:
- Drive key strategic initiatives across the organization
- Optimize business operations and processes
- Lead talent acquisition and development efforts
- Manage cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with company goals
- Act as a key liaison between the CEO and all departments
You'll report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in shaping Demand.io's future.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency across the company
- Lead the recruitment process for key positions, collaborating with hiring managers and external partners
- Manage the company's OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process, ensuring alignment and progress tracking
- Oversee office operations and enhance the work environment for optimal productivity
- Drive the implementation of new technologies and systems to support business growth
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments and teams
- Manage relationships with key external partners, vendors, and stakeholders
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement
A Day in the Life
As an Executive Business Partner at Demand.io, you might:
- Lead a strategic planning session with the leadership team to align on quarterly goals
- Analyze data from recent hiring initiatives and present recommendations to improve the recruitment process
- Collaborate with the product team to streamline the OKR setting and review process
- Meet with the office management team to discuss and implement workspace improvements
- Prepare and deliver a presentation on operational efficiency improvements to the board of directors
About You
Must-Haves:
- 7-10 years of experience in business operations, strategy, or a related field, preferably in high-growth tech companies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Excellent project management abilities with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in e-commerce, AI, or related tech industries
- Background in management consulting or investment banking
- Familiarity with OKR systems and performance management best practices
- Experience with financial modeling and budgeting
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts
Compensation & Growth Opportunity
At Demand.io, we align individual success with company performance:
- Competitive base salary: $150,000 - $200,000 DOE
- Equity: 0.10% - 0.20% initial grant in a $100M+ valuation company
Partners Program: Our profit-sharing system:
- Substantial cash bonuses tied to company performance
- Potential to earn multiples of base salary through monthly profit-sharing
- Rewards exceptional performance and long-term commitment
The Partners Program provides increasing rewards as Demand.io grows. Eligibility typically begins after 6 months, with increasing bonus percentages as you advance through Partner levels.
