Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Partner to join their Nashville office. As a leading firm with extensive experience advising a diverse range of clients in the construction industry, they provide comprehensive legal services that address the complex challenges their clients face. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned attorney to lead and expand their construction litigation practice in a thriving market, working on high-profile and impactful cases across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex construction litigation cases, including disputes related to engineering and design defects, building code violations, product failures, warranty claims, breach of contract, and allegations of fraud.
- Advise clients on all aspects of construction law, including the negotiation and drafting of design, engineering, and construction contracts, and ensuring compliance with construction codes and regulations.
- Represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration, as well as in court proceedings at local, state, and federal levels.
- Oversee multi-party disputes involving large-scale construction projects, such as roadways, industrial facilities, hospitals, commercial properties, and residential and public-private developments.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in Tennessee.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in construction litigation, with a proven track record of handling complex cases and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Strong litigation skills, including trial and appellate experience, with the ability to manage large-scale, multi-party disputes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
