The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion and adhere to schedule while keeping the budget of the project in mind.
***All projects within the DFW area, no overnight travel required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation of construction sites
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
- Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
- Collaborate with architects, inspectors, permitting,
- Manage subcontractors and construction site organization
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience overseeing commercial construction sites; ground up and renovations
- K-12, municipal, and/or large medical or government project experience preferred
- Strong management and communications skills
- Ability to read construction documents including plans and contracts
- Well-versed in regulatory construction standards
- Able to develop look ahead schedules and modify schedules when needed
- Strong problem solving skills
