Tandym Group has an immediate opportunity for an Epic Cash Posting Director Consultant with a client in Texas. This is a client-facing role that will be focused on improving Cash Posting performance for a health system undergoing an Epic transformation. Areas of focus include:
- Putting a reconciliation process in place for Epic HB/PB and Meditech
- Helping create Cash Posting SOP (Standard of Operations) for Epic used throughout the Enterprise.
- Working closely with Directors of Cash Posting at client to streamline workflow processes.
- Training Managers on multiple reports to help improve KPI's; AR days, CFB and Cash collections.
- Assisting Senior Operational Leaders with reporting documentation for Executive Leadership meetings.
- Identify trends, root causes and opportunities for A/R performance improvement.
- Working with IS Team and Operations to ensure these improvements are delivered.
- Working to optimize and automate Epic system to eliminate manual processes
- Responsible for understanding and utilizing EPIC reporting and functionality to achieve goals, including escalating issues to EPIC IT as needed.
Must Have Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of Cash Posting Experience:
- Experience with 835/ERA, Waystar files, what postings touch, etc.
- Leadership Experience to include managing a team of Cash Posters.
- Leadership Experience to include a history of implementing change, driving success and helping other leaders succeed.
- Experience within a large hospital or integrated healthcare delivery system.
- 5 years of strong experience utilizing Epic for Cash Posting operations:
- Epic Experience with Cash Posting Module
- Cash Posting experience with Epic HB
- Strong workflow experience
- Determining how to hold staff accountable in Epic
- Experience with utilizing Epic Reporting
Nice To Have Experience:
- Experience putting a reconciliation process in place
- Overall PFS (Patient Financial Services) Background to include knowledge of back-end revenue cycle process including denials management, claims, billing, and collections.
- Meditech Experience a huge plus
- Experience helping stabilize Epic Rev Cycle environment shortly after an Epic go-live.
- Any Revenue Cycle certifications such as CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative)
- Training Experience
