ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to play a critical role in aligning our operational needs with technical solutions across key systems, including practice management, EMR, and inventory management. This position is integral in planning, organizing, and conducting in-depth discovery sessions to identify challenges, address deficiencies, and enhance the technical processes that drive our enterprise's effectiveness. Acting as the primary liaison between IVX Health and third-party vendors, the Business Systems Analyst ensures that all technical engagements reflect the needs of our business partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vendor Collaboration: Support the Sr. Manager of Business Systems to engage with third-party vendors, to enhance, optimize, and ensure the functionality of all systems under the business systems umbrella.
- System Administration: Serve as the core administrator for our practice management system, Unlimited Financials, with expanding responsibilities into other key business systems. Provide support for system configurations and functionalities while assisting end users with any issues or inquiries.
- Auditing and Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement an ongoing auditing process for business systems, including user roles, groups, responsibilities, and rule configurations, to proactively identify and address potential gaps or risks.
- Queue Management: Oversee and prioritize enhancement and issue requests for the business systems team, collaborating with vendors to integrate these into their development cycles.
- Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as the bridge between internal departments and external partners, ensuring systems are fully utilized. Organize and lead user acceptance testing (UAT), system rollouts, and training sessions.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases for all technical workflows across the company’s core business systems.
- Process Design and Implementation: Guide the design, development, and documentation of business system workflows, ensuring that implementation activities deliver the solutions required by the business.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Identify areas where current business services policies and procedures need updating or new ones need to be created. Provide informed recommendations in these areas.

Qualifications
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding and broad experience with technical systems, with the ability to identify technical solutions to business challenges.
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry and the information exchange between providers, clearinghouses, payers, and employers.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal staff at all levels and effectively convey complex information.
- Presentation Skills: Proven ability to develop and deliver clear, engaging presentation materials, and to confidently field questions in open forums or presentations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to define system scope and objectives through thorough research and due diligence.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in business systems analysis, design, modeling, relational databases, technical writing, and system analysis.
- System administration experience with healthcare practice management and/or electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential; experience with Unlimited Financials is preferred.
