Our client is a boutique independent investment advisory firm based in downtown Chicago, representing over $15 billion in assets for approximately 90 valued clients. Their firm specializes in investment reporting, management, and advisory services for a diverse range of clients, including foundations, endowments, pensions, family offices, and financial intermediaries.
About the Role:
As a Client Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring clients receive the highest level of service. This hybrid position involves collaborating with the investment and platform technology teams to manage and oversee each client's custom investment program. Your primary responsibilities will include meeting preparation, paperwork facilitation, and coordination with various stakeholders, such as clients, banks, custodians, and asset management firms. You'll also work closely with tax, legal, and internal technology platform professionals to support clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle client service functions, including cash raises, cash transfers, bill payments, custodian alerts, managing capital calls/RMDs, account openings/closings, and manager hires/terminations.
- Assist with managing client meeting logistics, including scheduling meetings, managing report delivery protocols, and coordinating project deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily client interactions and provide timely responses to client service requests.
- Assist with the coordination, delivery, and supervision of the portal collateral to meet client deliverable expectations and compliance considerations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in a CSA role.
- Minimum 2 years working within a brokerage custodian platform. i.e. Schwab, Fidelity
- Experience working within a portfolio accounting system. i.e. Orion or equivalent is a plus.
- High attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to multitask with ease.
- Experience working within the Wealth Management Industry.
Salary: $80,000-$90,000 + bonus
