Revology Cars is hiring a Upholstery Team Leader at the Orlando, Florida facility where we build 1965-1968 Ford® Mustang® and Shelby® GT new licensed reproduction rolling chassis and restored original automobiles.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Upholstery Team Leader leads a team of expert upholstery technicians responsible for building the highest quality premium interiors for the world’s best new reproduction classic Mustangs. The scope of work includes material selection, cutting, sewing, wrapping, inspection and installation. Key responsibilities include:
- Meet daily production goals.
- Ensure all upholstery work meets quality standards and manufacturer specifications, maintaining rigorous quality control measures to ensure consistent application of upholstery techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections, address quality concerns, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching to enhance the skills and knowledge of upholstery department team members.
- Coordinate team members’ time off to ensure adequate coverage to meet production requirements.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance of upholstery machines and equipment.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the upholstery area. Promote a culture of safety consciousness and ensure that all team members are trained to operate equipment and handle materials safely.

REQUIREMENTS
- At least ten years of experience as an upholstery technician with a primary focus on automotive interiors.
- Detailed technical knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team toward common goals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to identify process improvements and drive operational excellence.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration and convey technical information in English.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred candidates will have leadership or supervisory experience and relevant certifications in upholstery and/or management.
- Ability to communicate verbally in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- An Upholstery Team Leader at Revology Cars will earn $34-40/hr. depending on skills and experience.
- The work week is 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Overtime on Friday may be available.

- 80.0 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay (72.0 hours per year) after only 90 days.
