Our client is seeking to add an experienced Commercial General Liability/Auto Claims Adjuster to join their Florida claims team. This person will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex commercial general liability and auto claims in accordance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a high level of expertise in claims handling, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to manage claims effectively.
- Investigate, evaluate, and settle commercial general liability and auto claims, including property damage.
- Review policy coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including obtaining statements, reviewing police reports, and gathering other relevant information.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claims activities in the claims management system.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing investigation findings, liability decisions, and settlement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other parties to resolve claims fairly and efficiently.
- Utilize alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation or arbitration, when appropriate.
- Make recommendations for settlement amounts based on investigation findings and policy coverage.
Qualifications:
- 5 - 10+ years of experience in commercial general liability/auto claims.
- Active FL license required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Salary/Benefits:
- $85,000 to $100,000 annual based salary
