Aegis is partnered with a well-established maufacturing company seeking an Electrical/Controls Programmer to join their growing team! You will collaborate on all electrical & controls engineering aspects of solution based projects.
Location: Near Pittsburg, PA

Monday-Friday Onsite
Day to day:
- Partner with leadership/sales/production/customers to determine the program/machine development. This person will NOT do any quoting though.
- Act as SME on timeline of completion for customers.
- Develop full machine solutions using PLCs, Motion Controllers, Robotics, etc.
- Communicate materials/equipment/tooling needing to be purchased for completion of project.
- Verify technical drawings of electrical control systems.
- Assist with design & specification of sensors, motors, servos, etc.
- Assist with final assemblies - mechanical fabrication of parts, electrical cabinet wiring, etc.
- Occasional travel to manufatcuring sites to lead final acceptance testings.
Qualifications:
- AS in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of programming experience (PLCs, Robotics, Machine Vision Systems, Motion Controls.)
- Experience designing/building machines.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Experience with Pneumatics.
- Experience interfacing with customers.
