Our client is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team! This is a contract position, working onsite in Rumford. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in the manufacturing industry!
Aerospace lab technicians contribute to preventing defects, reducing waste, and improving overall quality and efficiency in the aerospace industry. Employers value technical aptitude, attention to detail, critical thinking, and math skills. Knowledge of material lab instrumentation – hardness tester, microscopes, chemical sample preparation, and aerospace quality standards is essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and label metallographic mount for process verification – Weld and Heat treatment.
- Hardness check for heat treatment cycle verification
- Material certification validation
- Heat treats cycle validation.
- Following internal processes for compliance verification / validation
