Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Quality Manager to join a Manufacturing Client in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite.
The Quality Manager will oversee and manage the company's quality assurance and control processes. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards and procedures to ensure that our products/services meet both internal and external quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Management:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality management systems, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Address and resolve customer complaints and quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure that quality expectations are met and exceeded.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that all quality-related documentation is maintained accurately and up-to-date.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the company remains compliant.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Utilize data analysis and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role, with a strong background in quality assurance and control.
- ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
- Lean Six Sigma Certified.
- Green Belt preferred.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
