Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part-time Physical Therapist to join our Early Intervention Evaluating Team in Cumberland/Perry County. Invo is the nation's leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities. To qualify, applicants must have:
- A master's degree or doctorate from an accredited university
- Active state-level licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Child Abuse Clearance
- Criminal Background Check
- Fingerprinting
- Experience working with young children is a plus but not required
What to expect from this role? - Evaluate infants and toddlers using the appropriate individualized assessment activities to establish the infant/toddler's eligibility for Early Intervention Services and address the concerns of the family about their child's development
- Identify infants and toddlers who meet one or more of the eligibility criteria: developmental delay, informed clinical opinion, or a diagnosis which has a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay
- Complete evaluation documentation and assist families in creating functional outcomes for their children
- Maintain appropriate records
- Perform other PT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
