Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for a range of construction projects across a number of different sectors.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements and scope.
- Perform material take-offs and labor assessments to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports and proposals for client review and approval.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and MS Office suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
