- An active license to practice law in South Carolina
- Experience as a practicing lawyer
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures and provide training to the company's employees on legal and regulatory matters.
- Manage the company's legal affairs, including risk management and dispute resolution. Manage and drive forward current ongoing litigation.
- Oversee, advise and escalate collections
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Good Standing with the CA State Bar
- Must have commercial contract negotiation experience
- Must have been a litigator in the past
- Must have some experience with employment law
- Must have in good standing with the California Bar
- Outstanding negotiating, communication, drafting, and writing skills
- Reviewing high volume of commercial contracts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
