Transmission Planning and Interconnection Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct transmission planning studies to assess the impact of new generation and transmission projects on the existing grid.
- Develop and evaluate interconnection requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and grid codes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize grid performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in transmission planning, interconnection studies, or related fields.
- Proficiency with power system analysis software such as PSSE, PowerWorld, or TARA.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., NERC, FERC) and grid code compliance requirements.
