As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our client’s engineering team to develop and refine technical drawings and models using SolidWorks. You will gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing process by translating designs into programs for laser cutting, helping to bring concepts to life with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks.
- Interpret and work from engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Develop programs for laser cutting based on SolidWorks designs.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs meet manufacturing specifications.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and optimization of designs for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
