We are looking for a Physician's Assistant in an orthopedic surgery practice that will be a part of a busy clinical and surgical practice. No weekends, ER call schedule or holidays required.
Medical care and surgical procedures:
Joint replacement (hips, knees, shoulders, elbows)
Sports Medicine surgeries (shoulders, knees, ankles, arthroscopic surgeries)
Cartilage restoration procedures
Endoscopic carpal tunnel release
Hand surgery
Pediatric and adult traumatic fracture surgeries
Non-surgical experience:
Corticosteroid and PRP injections
Fracture management (splinting, casting, bracing)
Clinic management of osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, septic arthritis
Musculoskeletal pain
Student-Athlete physicals
This orthopedic practice has 2 Orthopedic physicians, 1 Podiatrist, and 2-3 physician assistants. We are the only orthopedic practice with outpatient surgery facility, imaging with MRI and CT Scanning, and Physical Therapy at the same location in the Fairbanks area.
Office open 8am-5pm Monday- Friday
Your position will require clinic presence with an orthopedic surgeon Tuesday/Thursday, 95% of the time you will have orthopedic surgeon in clinic with you. You will be 1st assist in surgery cases Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
Option of having your own clinic, seeing patients is your decision.

Starting salary $125,000-$150,000 year based on experience.
