A market leader in the Metals industry is adding to their growing IT team and is looking for a Cybersecurity Architect. This is a great opportunity to join a global company in a business critical function with the autonomy to build process/architecture and interact directly with key decision makers in a collaborative environment.
This is a full-time, direct-hire permanent position. This role is hybrid with a 3 days/week on-site expectation in Lisle, IL. The organization is unable to sponsor or transfer visas at this time.
The ideal person will possess the following qualities/skills:
- 5+ years of hands on network/network security experience
- Strong understanding of route/switch (Cisco based) and IP protocols
- Experience with log management, SaaS based EDR, and other cyber security tools
- Experience designing large/enterprise networks including cross segment networking
- Experience mapping networks/network diagramming & documentation
- Experience as a business advisor and working directly with key business leaders
- CCNA, CISSP or other relevant professional certifications a plus
