Responsibilities:
- Draft real estate agreements using templates.
- Review and process land control agreement requests (leases, easements, purchase agreements) for accuracy.
- Coordinate property searches with third-party abstractors and researchers.
- Analyze recorded documents to ensure full and accurate interest.
- Prepare and review documents for the development team.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers and land agents.
- Maintain landowner files, tracking data, and project status reports.
- Assist with project closings, contract management, and real estate training.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in title industry
- Experience with title abstracting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Landworks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Details:
- Pay: $30-$35/hr
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (flexible)
- Location: Start in-office in Bloomington for 1-3 weeks, then remote or hybrid.
