Our client is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
DUTIES
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive role
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources
- At least 3 years of Human Resource Experience
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work and contribute as an active member of the HR team
- Able to work in high stress and pressure environment
- Accurately provide FMLA , tracking, certifications and follow ups
- Maintain PMLA laws and tracking with employees
- Maintain I-9s with company process
- Complete VOE letters under company policy
- Bring Forward Policy and handbook issues/ changes for site specific needs to the HR Director
- Oversee completion and accuracy on evaluations at all stages using HRIS system to track and maintain with employee manager
- Prep & create Employee communications with bulletin and TV messages, following HR team approval
- Work with retention manager on retention strategy and events, quarterly plans and budgets
- Complete injury tracking, carrier documentation and follow up with employees, carriers and HR Director.
- Complete audits in all areas of HR (site specific) (not limited to I-9, benefits, W/C, ACA, EEO-1, employee files)
- Provide continuous improvement ideas in HR areas to HR team for company best practices
- Maintain up to date orientation/training site specific and nationwide standard
- Provide group on-boarding/orientation session
- Oversee all aspects of Exit & Stay Interviews via HRIS system
- Responsible for processing of weekly payroll with accuracy
- Daily check of punch accuracy and time clock issues with hourly employees
- Maintain site payroll needs such as garnishments, deductions, bonus (other)in HRIS/Payroll system
- Complete HR side of electronic onboarding
- Input all change of status forms or HRIS system to dos/approvals
- Send weekly payroll reports to HR Director.
- Update recruitment placement sheet and L10 numbers weekly
- Perform terminations with witness and complete documentation
- Verify and update deductions in payroll on all terminations
- Administer open enrollment and new elections and cost input on HRIS/payroll
- Respond and process all qualifying events
- Maintain data in HRIS
- Check and audit monthly invoices for benefits of other costs, work with finance team on payments and cost savings
- Train all safety aspects
- Understand and teach PPE/OSHA guidelines
- Participate and contribute to safety walks
- Work with recruitment team on scheduling interviews and extending offers
- Schedule non-hourly/higher skilled interview with respective hiring manager
- Enter data accurately in HRIS system and provide reports as needed. (W/C, ACA, W2)
- Complete training as needed for HR growth
- Maintain employee files per company standard
- Point person for employee relations/incidents, witness documentation, problem solving and documentation
- Receive and dispute unemployment with company standards
