A law firm in Bergen County is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with clients on high-net-worth estate matters and sophisticated business transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients about estate planning, estate administration, and tax planning.
- Prepare wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents.
- Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action.
- Represent clients on corporate and transactional matters.
Qualifications:
- Candidates with have 1-5 years of tax, trusts and estates legal experience with additional experience in corporate and transactional areas of law.
- Knowledge in estate planning, estate administration and tax planning is required.
- Estate Litigation experience is a plus.
- Membership to the NJ Bar is a must; license in NY is also preferred.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and desire to continue to learn and grow with our firm.
