The level 2 Technician will help us solve more complex issues that require considerable knowledge of servers, virtualization and layer 2 networking. Ensuring client satisfaction and resolving issues are essential in this position.
JOB DUTIES:
*Provide tech support in person, over the phone or via remote access for issues related to computer systems software, hardware, patching, etc.
*Be an escalation point for level 1 technicians to provide guidance on complex troubleshooting tasks
*Diagnose issues to find best practice solutions
*Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for solutions to ongoing issues
*Tailor communication style and troubleshooting delivery to match knowledge or skill level of end user
*Create documentation and provide feedback on existing documentation
*Track and enter time quickly and accurately
*Set up, configure and troubleshoot servers, computers, and networking equipment
*Serve as part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support
*Work in a flexible and collaborative manner
*Ensure confidentiality and security of all information
*Multi-tasking and maintaining organization
*Experience: Knowledge gained through working on business IT systems
*Patience: Demonstrate patience when our clients don't understand industry jargon

QUALIFICATIONS:
*2+ yrs experience in IT/help desk support
*Exp w/Microsoft Windows Server roles & features
*Understanding of 2/3 networking configurations
*Experience administering Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace tenants
HOURS & WAGE
Full-time, Monday - Friday either 8am - 5 pm or 7am - 4pm.
