SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Office Administrator is responsible for welcoming guests into the building and assisting with their questions while displaying a professional demeanor. This role is also responsible for call routing and administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answer incoming calls and route to the correct department.
- Greet on-site visitors and direct them to the correct company personnel.
- Receive, sort, and route incoming mail to the correct department.
- Prepare any outgoing mail/packages and ensure pickup is scheduled.
- Handle travel arrangements.
- Coordinate internal and external events.
- Creation of purchase orders to maintain office supplies and warehouse supplies.
- Creation of sales orders and purchase orders for Engineering, Quality and Equipment departments.
- Invoice all sales orders created.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
- Learn company’s ERP system.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of administrative experience required.

- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical skill set to assist in following instructions.
- Problem solving skills are necessary.
- Can work independently or with a team.
- Strong time management skills.
- Must display professionalism as this role is the first a visitor sees when entering the building.
- Fluency in English.

- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, laptop use, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
