Job Title: Operations Research Analyst
Job Overview: We are seeking an Operations Research Analyst responsible for developing and implementing advanced quantitative models to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue. The role involves collaborating with business partners to identify requirements, analyze data, develop models, and generate reports to address key business challenges.
Background and Skills:
- Graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an accredited U.S. university
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in formulating and implementing optimization models (e.g., MIP, network flow)
- Proficiency with commercial optimization with Gurobi
- Experience with heuristic and algorithm development
- Proficiency in LINUX and Java for optimization model implementation
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills for working with business stakeholders
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Python or R programming
- C++ experience
- Knowledge of machine learning
- Familiarity with software development methodologies
