Position Summary
Fine Wine Specialist, Advisory – UOVO WINE, In this dynamic and multi-faceted role, you'll be the go-to resource for all wine-related questions, from answering questions about wine labels to leading innovative projects across our Advisory, Home Cellar Auction service. We are seeking a talented individual with expertise in audits, inventorying, logistics, shipping and receiving, and client services. Additionally, we are looking for someone with warehousing experience such as pulling wine and prepping for shipments. Location
The FWS Advisory position may be held in any of our UOVO WINE locations and is not limited to New York. Other locations include NAPA, Chicago, St. Louis, Florida, and Washington DC.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged exposure to 55-degree warehouse temperature
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, lifting, pulling and pushing cases
- May need to climb ladders to reach product
- Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Requires finger and wrist manipulation and/or grasping of wine bottles more than 90% of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for sustained periods of time
Travel Requirements
Up to 50% regular monthly travel requirements will include local, regional, and national trips, to include overnight stays, in support of client needs and Advisory projects.
Education, Experience and/or Certifications
Required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3 – 5 years of wine knowledge and experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
Preferred
- Associate degree or Technical/Trade certification in related fields
- Wine certification through CWS, CMS or WSET
- Forklift certification
- Pallet jack experience
Responsibilities
- Performs client relations in a timely manner to include delivery requests, inventory questions, consolidation requests, and other required client collection services
- Conducts wine inventories and audits, as required, to evaluate bottle conditions and record data with meticulous accuracy
- Builds pallets for shipment as needed
- Performs client wine pulls as needed
- Performs Advisory, Home Cellar and Auction service activities as needed
- Conducts off-site activities as needed
- Performs Auction services as needed
- Participates in weekly Advisory Meeting
- Participates in the overall facilities cleanliness and upkeep in designated working areas
- Function and participate as a Team member in meetings and special projects
- Assists with import as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Salary commensurate with experience.
