Join a dynamic team as a Consumer Insights Analyst at a global automotive company, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience both inside and outside the vehicle. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive research to understand critical moments in the customer journey and influence product initiatives through detailed insights. This position entails a mix of in-house projects and collaborations with external vendors, focusing on blending physical and digital consumer experiences to enhance our unique value propositions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product teams to identify research needs and develop clear research objectives.
- Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research using methodologies such as interviews, surveys (MaxDiff, Conjoint, TURF), and usability testing.
- Manage research projects from inception to conclusion, ensuring timely execution and compliance with objectives.
- Analyze and synthesize customer feedback to derive actionable insights, documenting findings in detailed reports and presentations.
- Create and test low-fidelity prototypes to validate use-case scenarios and refine product designs.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor products to identify potential opportunities and technology gaps.
- Facilitate the recruitment and management of study participants, ensuring diverse and relevant feedback.
- Maintain and archive all research data, findings, and recordings for organizational learning and compliance.
Required Skillset:
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in market research or consumer insights, with a strong preference for candidates possessing experience in the automotive industry.
- Proven ability to manage complex research projects and work collaboratively with external research vendors.
- Proficiency in using advanced research and analysis platforms, such as Qualtrics, and experience with DIY questionnaire building and analysis.
- Experience in designing and executing research that informs product development and customer experience strategies.
- Familiarity with executing detailed customer journey mappings and usability studies.
- Bachelor's degree in degree in Market Research, Consumer Insights, Behavioral Science, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
Bonus Skillset:
- Previous experience in an R&D environment.
