LHH Technology is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of network projects and support enterprise-level deployments. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain TCP/IP networks, with a focus on routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF).
- Manage the enterprise deployment of firewalls and switches, including policy changes, firmware upgrades, and firewall filter management.
- Support and maintain Juniper switches, including VLAN creation, segmentation, and OS upgrades.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring high levels of performance and availability.
- Assist with load balancing and network monitoring systems.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industry experience with a solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts, including BGP and OSPF.
- 2+ years of experience deploying and managing enterprise-level firewalls.
- 2+ years of experience managing enterprise-level switches, particularly in a Juniper environment.
- 2+ years of experience managing Juniper switches, firewall filter policies, VLAN creation/segmentation, and OS upgrades.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or 5 years of relevant work experience can be substituted.
- 2+ years of experience supporting end users in a Juniper environment.
- Experience with Junos Space platform is a plus.
- Experience with Cradlepoint or site connectivity management (ISP).
- Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure (installation of switches, racks, etc.).
- A home lab for testing or development purposes is highly desirable.
Nice to Have:
- 2+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise deployments of Juniper switches.
- Previous experience with site connectivity management and ISP handling.
