Job Description:
WISPR Systems, an innovative American drone manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Nesbit, MS. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and that our inventory is accurately tracked and managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving:
- – Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- – Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and documentation is complete.
- – Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Inventory Management:
- – Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- – Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- – Assist with inventory organization and storage, ensuring optimal use of space.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- – Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory movements.
- – Prepare and submit reports on shipping, receiving, and inventory activities as required.
- – Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Communication and Coordination:
- – Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to shipments or inventory.
- – Work closely with the production and procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and products.
- Safety and Compliance:
- – Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in the handling and storage of materials.
- – Ensure that all shipping and receiving areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
