ASML’s Wilton Factory holds an Operational Excellence group that is focusing on driving improvements to its business process and supporting IT tooling (most commonly SAP and/or Siemens Teamcenter and peripherical tooling). A team of approximately 10 business process specialists drive cross department / sector improvements from a content perspective in close collaboration with end-users and their management. This team is also known as ‘BAT’ (Business Adoption Team). The larger improvements (defined by either complexity, scope and/or lead-time) are led by project leads; smaller initiatives are typically led by the business process specialists themselves. As Group Lead (GL) and people manager for this team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing the competences and growth of the team members
- Manage the team’s allocation to (prioritized) improvement projects
- Identify waste and areas for improvement in Wilton Factory’s business processes (by e.g. using process mining technology and/or customer input)
- Supporting our senior management / process owners with (reporting on) process adherence KPIs, and support identifying improvement actions based on them
- Maintain overview of business process owners and processes & KPIs they are responsible for
- Provide input to Wilton Factory’s improvements portfolio for required short and long-term process & IT solution capability step-ups
- Support Wilton Factory’s senior staff translating corporate targets into concrete improvement proposals (i.e. strategy deployment)
- Facilitate workshops to define as-is and to-be processes/states using tools as e.g. SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, LEAN6Sigma
- Participating in ASML’s global Process Excellence competence center
You will report to the head of Wilton Factory OpX Business Improvements & Support / Business Change & Adoption
Education:
- Minimal requirement: Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in business administration, business process mngt & IT, management sciences or equivalent
Experience:
- > 8 years of relevant work experience in a (complex) manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of:
- Leading team of senior experts and professionals as their people manager, including being responsible for their performance (evaluation) and their personal development & growth
- Holding senior positions in Operational Excellence, business process management/improvements departments (in manufacturing environment)
Other Information
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
