About the Role
The Corporate Real Estate Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of all aspects of owned and leased real estate in the company's portfolio. Reporting to the COO, this position ensures that:
- all transactions are within budget and approved by all necessary stakeholders,
- the company hits all annual growth objectives (greenfield),
- all key dates are reviewed no less than 12 months prior to the upcoming lease expiration date,
- all facility management issues are overseen and dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
This position is also responsible for the operational direction of Real Estate transaction management and its functions, as well as the operational guidance and management of the network of third-party Real Estate transaction providers (Brokers), within the Corp real estate portfolio.
The Corporate Real Estate Manager will lead the Real Estate team members to develop processes, procedures, and operational strategies, in conjunction with feedback and guidance from each business unit and the company's Management Team.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to fulfill business needs, which supports the execution of local Real Estate transactions. Furthermore, this position will be the main contact person for any real estate transactions for the company (US & Canada). Due to a large diverse portfolio, the individual must have strong skills in negotiation, communication, project management.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional experience in a related field.
Bachelor’s Degree with relevant coursework.
A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of commercial lease concepts.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and time manage multiple projects.
Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in team settings.
Experience with Lease Harbor (or other lease administration software).
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams).
