Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in the search for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team North of the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for building out the company’s network operations in a multi-site, enterprise environment. This will include Fortinet Fortigate installation, configuration, deployment, and administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, and formulate recommendations for a growing and evolving infrastructure.
- Maintain infrastructure for networking, storage, and compute with focus for minimal downtime
- Advise on the expansion of current infrastructure including cloud opportunities to meet demands
- Plan and implement new systems, upgrades, and patching
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues to IT team members
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of work experience in IT Network Operations in a multi-site, enterprise environment
- Experience with Fortinet FortiGate and Fortinet FortiManager.
- Extensive experience supporting routing protocols / technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VPN (Site to Site, remote access client, IPSEC) VPN tunnel
- Proven experience with SD-WAN solutions, design, implementations, and security integration
