Job Title - Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: South Carolina
Salary - Up to $125,000 plus other benefits
Leading engineering company are seeking a critical hire into their mechanical design team. You'll play a pivotal role in driving excellence in design & innovation. Including designing & developing complex mechanical components & systems, from concept through production, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality & safety. 🚀
Role - Mechanical Design Engineer
🚀Estimate automation systems & develop comprehensive cost models to support project proposals.
🚀Design various components, including molded, welded, etched, stamped, machined, & extruded parts using SolidWorks.
🚀Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, & part files for mechanical components in SolidWorks.
🚀Participate in design reviews, develop specifications, & assess feasibility while adhering to project timelines.
🚀Ensure all designs comply with health and safety regulations and quality standards, including OSHA, RIA, NFPA, NEC, and ISO guidelines.
🚀Mentoring & assist junior mechanical engineers for product design, development, fabrication & testing
Must Have:
🎯Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant design software.
🎯Experience mentoring junior engineers
🎯Minimum 5 years+ experience in mechanical design
🎯Travel 25%
