JOB DESCRIPTION for Memory and Standard Cells Analysis Engineer (Mountain View)
Define and work with vendors to develop std cell, memories and other macros customizations required for next generation consumer SoC products
Perform Vendor selection & PPA analysis for standard cells, memories and other macros across various advanced foundry technology nodes
- Compare and contrast portfolios and roadmaps for standard cells, memories and other macros across for different vendors – by running PPA Analysis in advanced process nodes across all vendors
- Project based PPA analysis
- Work with vendors to create custom memories, standard cell or other macros for improved PPA and features that can help further differentiate product from competitor
- Work with arch, design and PD teams to determine necessary customizations
- Support the vendor/foundry by providing required specifications, testing IPs and providing regular feedback.
Background Needed
Experience in custom memory and standard cell circuit design in advanced CMOS technologies nodes
Experience running PPA Analysis for advanced technology nodes
Physical design and implementation experience (familiar with RTL2GDS flow)
Scripting knowledge – need to have strong Python scripting experience
Experience in vendor management
