IT Help Desk Specialist
Meade is seeking a new member to join our IT Department as an IT Help Desk Specialist. This individual will be responsible for providing excellent application and hardware support for Meade field and office staff. This role requires strong customer service, and problem-solving skills. Regular duties include troubleshooting and deploying equipment for staff like phones, tablets, laptops, and printers. Assisting staff with applications and one on one training. This position is located our Willowbrook office, light travel between remote offices is required.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor degree, High School Diploma and CompTIA A+ Certification.
- 1+ year of help desk or customer service experience
- Strong Knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft O365
- Strong Knowledge of Apple iOS, and Android
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support local and remote staff with both technical and non-technical issues.
- Maintain IT asset inventory
- Setup and Support Mobile devices, (Tablets and Phones)
- Setup and support Windows Laptops
- Track and process daily service requests using our ticketing system
- Document solutions in our internal knowledge base
- Manage user credentials including password and MFA resets
- Troubleshoot issues, and research solutions
- Escalate issues when necessary
- Analyze usage and generate reports
Skill Sets
- Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms
- Experience with Android, and iOS Mobile Operating Systems
- Experience with Windows Operating systems, and O365
- Strong problem-solving and research skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to remain friendly and patient
- Maintain a curious and learning mindset
