Role: Azure Cloud Technical Lead

Role:
- As a technical lead, you will be primarily responsible for leading the data engineering solutions in Azure and/or any other ancillary cloud technologies.
- This role is a very engaging mix of hands-on technical work and opportunities to showcase leadership skills.
- Assist in design and develop solutions for migration of on-premise data stores to cloud-based technologies.
- Act as the hands-on technical expert to provide support for on-premise and cloud data infrastructure issues.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines, leveraging Azure DevOps or other similar tools.
- Assist in design and develop solutions for migration of on-premise data stores to cloud-based technologies.
- Act as the hands-on technical expert to provide support for on-premise and cloud data infrastructure issues.
Required:
- Overall, 15+ years of experience, with 5+ of experience in Cloud engineering roles, with Azure cloud experience a must.
- Extensive experience in technologies around databases, data warehouses, data pipelines and ETL/ELT.
- Must have had enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
- Ability to evaluate design architecture and enhance system performance by bringing in best practices.
- Certifications:
- DP-203 – Microsoft Data Engineer Associate is required.
- AZ-305 – Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
- Proficiency in designing solutions for and implementing Data Warehousing projects in Azure Data Factory/Synapse/Databricks along with other Azure services (Event Grid/Logic Apps etc.).
- Proficient in automation and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Must have a good understanding of Cloud networking (VM’s, Load Balancers and Firewall, etc.) security (Network Security Groups, Security Center, Secret storage etc.) and other Azure services .
- Strong understanding of Agile and development methodologies and DevOps principles.
