As a Maintenance Team Member at El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, you ensure the smooth operations, functionality, and grandeur of your destination’s facilities. In this role, you’re a proud custodian of the infrastructure and equipment that enables our team to deliver a luxury experience and provide optimal service. Primary Responsibilities Include
- Conducting maintenance through inspections and repairs of infrastructure, including buildings, rooms, facilities, and equipment.
- Implementing proactive, preventative maintenance by establishing and executing a maintenance program and schedule
- Responding promptly and effectively to maintenance emergencies, and actively mitigating risks to ensure the safety and comfort of guests
- Managing work orders and service requests from various departments by coordinating resources and prioritizing crucial tasks
- The successful candidates will understand aspects of plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, fire, pool, kitchen, HVAC and laundry systems and will be able to interpret blueprints.
- These positions require effective communication skills with guests, management and co-workers and the ability to make repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Compensation is $23 to $25 per hour.
