Travel Coordinator - Admin

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can balance policy enforcement with excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with team members at all levels of the organization and have the analytical skills necessary to manage travel data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review travel out of policy booking requests
· Communicate effectively with KUS and Kia NA team members at all levels, including VPs, regarding out-of-policy travel requests and other travel items
· Ensure that the travel reservations made in Company's travel booking tool are reasonable and within corporate policy
· Understand, communicate, and execute corporate travel policy for all travel reservations.
· Assist team members with travel reservations on an as-needed basis
· Support general travel-related inquiries and assist with travel arrangements
· Set up guest accounts and manage team member travel profiles
· Document travel exceptions and trends and prepare supporting documents and reports
· Perform monthly reconciliation of travel expenses using Excel
· Work on various ad hoc projects, and other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Proficiency in Excel, including use of functions like VLOOKUP
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Understanding of corporate travel policies and procedures
· Customer service orientation
Qualifications:
· Experience in corporate travel management preferred
· Minimum 3-5 years office support/business administration responsibilities required
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in office administration and/or office management required.
