We are looking for a Staff Power Electronics Engineer to join our team and spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge power electronic systems for commercial applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and sustainability in mission-critical settings. All candidates must be US Citizens.
The day-to-day:
- Oversee the design and development of power electronic systems (inc. converters, inverters, and control units)
- Frequently conduct analysis, simulations, and modeling of power electronic circuits.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across hardware, software, and mechanical disciplines.
- Perform design validation, testing
- Guide and support junior engineers, encouraging innovation and excellence.
Necessary skills:
- Bachelor’s Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or similar
- 8+ years of experience in designing power electronic systems
- Proficiency with switching converters and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
