Director, Content Strategy + Production
This is a hybrid position, there will be some in office requirements to be able to meet in person. It would have to be someone in the Truckee/Tahoe, CA or Reno, NV area
Salary range: $115k-$135k
As Director, Content Strategy + Production you'll have the chance to significantly expand your creative influence and be a driving force in telling our story through compelling multimedia content
As our Manager, Content Strategy + Production you'll be responsible for:
- Spearheading our multimedia content strategy, with a strong emphasis on video production, podcasts, and interactive content
- Leading the conceptualization, production, and distribution of high-quality video content, including long-form podcasts, short-form video assets, product-focused content, customer testimonials + case studies, thought leadership pieces, and more
- Overseeing our content calendar across all platforms, ensuring a cohesive narrative that showcases our value proposition through various media formats
- Managing a diverse team of content creators, including videographers, editors, writers, and designers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling content that supports product launches, marketing initiatives, brand strategy, and other go-to-market activations
- Developing and implementing innovative ways to tell our story through multimedia channels, reaching and engaging our target audience effectively
ABOUT YOU:
- You have an extensive multimedia content leadership background. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading content strategy, with at least 3 years focused on multimedia production and managing diverse teams of content creators, including videographers, editors, writers, and designers
- You excel in multi-format storytelling, especially video production. You can craft compelling narratives across various media, but your true strength lies in video. We're seeking someone who's comfortable both behind and in front of the camera – directing shoots, conducting interviews, and extracting marketing gold from various settings like podcasts, conferences, and events. Proficiency in video editing is a significant plus
- You're an expert at expanding brand reach through multimedia content. You have a proven track record of creating compelling video content and SEO-optimized editorial that ranks well. You can balance creating searchable content with high-quality, value-added productions that appeal to both general audiences and industry experts. You're adept at teaching these skills to your team
- You're a confident presenter and communicator. You have experience creating and delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences. You're skilled at coaching executives to effectively communicate our brand message through various multimedia formats
- You're an inspirational leader in the creative space. You're passionate about nurturing talent and consistently go above and beyond to help your team grow and develop their skills. You foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement in the fast-paced world of multimedia production
- You have a robust network in the multimedia industry. You bring established connections with videographers, editors, writers, industry experts, and other professionals who can contribute to and elevate our brand's multimedia content through collaborations, interviews, and partnerships
- You're a proactive innovator in content creation. You're always eager to explore new content formats and production techniques. You actively seek and incorporate feedback to refine your work.
