Position – Collateralized Debt Obligations Specialist
Location - Chicago, IL 60603, United States
Duration – 6 Months – 1 Year Contract
Rate - $21 – 22/hour
Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs) are structured finance vehicles that issue both debt and equity liabilities. The proceeds from these issuances are used to purchase a diverse portfolio of collateral, which may include syndicated bank loans, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and mezzanine debt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Settle bank loan trades and manage investments of excess cash as directed by the Portfolio Manager.
- Track and maintain detailed asset attributes, including accrual information, ratings, industry codes, and more.
- Provide daily reports to internal clients, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaborate with other trade settlers to ensure timely and accurate reporting to investors.
- Ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness of data through meticulous booking and reconciliation of account activities.
- This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but associate degree is acceptable as well.
