Job Description:
- Seeking an experienced SAP Indirect Procurement Resource to join our team and support a critical SAP S/4HANA implementation. The role focuses on standardizing indirect procurement processes across various manufacturing sites within the pharmaceutical industry. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, particularly in executing procurement processes that are not dependent on Ariba.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of indirect procurement processes in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring integration with other modules such as plant maintenance and enterprise asset management.
- Develop and manage a catalog of service providers, including the maintenance of master data and service contracts.
- Ensure that the execution of these processes is integrated into the core S/4HANA system, with a focus on streamlining and standardizing procedures across multiple sites.
- Provide expert guidance on how procurement scenarios can be effectively built in SAP, focusing on data management, process optimization, and feature utilization without delving into configuration specifics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the design is scalable for other regions beyond North America.
- Work within a hybrid model, balancing remote work with necessary on-premise engagements in NJ.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in designing and executing indirect procurement processes within SAP S/4HANA.
- Must have experience with core SAP S/4HANA solutions, not reliant on Ariba.
- Experience in catalog management, master data maintenance, and service contract development within SAP.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and understanding of plant maintenance and enterprise asset management is a plus.
- Ability to work both remotely and on-site, with flexibility around location and schedule.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead design sessions and stakeholder meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in large-scale SAP implementations, especially within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors.
- Understanding of third-party integrations and the challenges associated with system standardization.
- The candidate may need to travel occasionally depending on project needs.
