Duties and Responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Utilizes knowledge of proper mechanical procedures to repair and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with maintenance/ operations manuals, electrical schematics and ladder diagrams, assembly and parts drawings and manufacturer's specifications when available.
Dismantles equipment as required to test, repair and/or replace defective components
Using appropriate tools and or precision testing equipment, ensuring that the work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Hands on knowledge of volt meters and other test/measuring equipment
Ability to solve problems (such as maintenance of automation equipment, wiring equipment, connecting airlines, power supply, AC/DC motors and control cabinets)
Experienced with troubleshooting up to 480v 3ph equipment
Qualifications/ must haves:
Understand function of CNC machining equipment.
Background in Hydraulic, pneumatics, and Electrical.
Understands electronics to diagnose equipment failures.
Electrical with NEC Certificate a plus.
