Team Lead
Electronics company located in east El Paso is looking for a Team Lead.
Position Overview:
- Responsible for directing, coaching, and engaging operations employees to achieve production and quality goals efficiently and safely.
- The role will collaborate with various teams on implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leading practices.
Job Duties:
- Interact with and motivate the workforce, regularly communicate team goals and results
- Maintains a leveled flow of the supply chain through the daily processes to meet customer expectations.
- Promote, develop, and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Supports the operation with timely and accurate replenishment of required materials.
- Provide coaching through observations and provide performance feedback.
- Conduct on-the-job training with Operations Specialists, and identify training and cross-training needs
- Reports any discrepancy in the process that could lead to a business risk affecting internal and external customers.
- Attends meetings and assists in developing in a team environment Continuous Improvement.
- Facilitates communications between employees, production departments, and the company.
- Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of direct supervisory experience required.
- Skills in leadership, organization, communication, and cross functional teamwork
- Emphasis on safety is extremely important
- Good understanding of computer systems and software programs
- Operates forklift, conveyors, pallet jacks, carts and/or other equipment.
Working hours are 7:00 to 3:30.
$17/hr. to start.
Position could become full time with the company.
