We are looking for an Experienced Mechanical Engineer to join one of our customers based in the Virginia Area. The client are a national supplier of vacuum pumps and systems, and are looking to grow their design and engineering teams.
Role Description:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, to meet industry-specific requirements.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and optimization.
- Troubleshoot design issues and propose modifications to improve performance and reliability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical design and engineering.
- Lead projects by ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally focused on pumps or vacuum systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with FEA/CFD simulations.
- Strong Background in Physics and Chemical.
- Experience in industrial applications, preferably within the pumps and vacuum systems industry.
