Job Description
A small sized 4 person insurance financing company is looking for an Administrative Assistant in the Tallahassee, Fl area. The company is in a strong, niche market and has successfully been in business for 16 years. Responsibilities will include scanning, data entry, emailing notifications to brokers and account holders, retrieving policy numbers, sending checks, sending status reports, ordering supplies, mailing drafts, and entering deposits. As you progress in the role, you will be trained into advanced responsibilities such as responding to inbound calls around payments, posting credit payments, running ACH payments, and entering new business. The ideal candidate will enjoy a small office work environment while maintaining a high level of grit and determination. We are looking for someone who is driven and wants to continually improve their skillset with proper direction to continue advancing their career. This position has immense room for advancement as you will wear many hats, and be trained by the both the partner owners of the company and accountants. This is a 6 month contract to hire and will convert to a permanent employee with the long term plan to continue growing this person professionally into higher level responsibilities.
