POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented E-commerce Fraud Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our company and customers by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to suspicious activities across our platforms. Experience in the supplement industry is highly desired, as it will provide valuable insights into common fraud patterns specific to this sector.

OBJECTIVES
- Monitor transactions across Amazon, Shopify, Salesforce, and ShipStation for fraudulent activity, with a special focus on the unique challenges within the supplement industry.
- Investigate unusual patterns, chargebacks, and suspicious transactions, leveraging your industry knowledge to assess potential fraud risks.
- Make informed decisions on whether to release or cancel orders based on comprehensive risk assessments and established guidelines.
- Collaborate with customer service, sales, and operations teams to verify client data and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies tailored to the specific needs of the supplement market.
- Analyze and generate reports on fraud trends, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in fraud detection and prevention processes.
- Present findings to management and provide actionable insights to enhance overall security measures.
- Partner with external stakeholders, including payment processors and 3PL providers, to mitigate risk.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of fraud detection systems and software.
COMPETENCIES
- Proven experience in e-commerce fraud analysis, with a preference for experience in the supplement industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data.
- Comfortable reporting trends of fraud and trends to leadership
- Proficiency with Salesforce, ShipStation, and other transaction management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to e-commerce fraud.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years experience working with 3PL services and a solid understanding of inventory management processes and systems
- Familiarity with chargeback processes and payment gateways.
- Certification in Fraud Examination (CFE) or related credentials desired but not required.
