Senior HRIS Implementation Analyst - Dayforce

A global Industrial Supplier are looking for someone to join on a Permanent basis to head up their Ceridian/Dayforce application. A brand new role in a brand new team, you will be the internal lead and techno-functional expert in utilizing best-practices in payroll and HR process on the Dayforce platform.
You will work with the HR and Payroll team to improve the business process, be hands-on in making technical and configuration changes, and review and support delivery of new process and technical requests. You will work with the external support partner on more complicated support issues.
Also looking for someone to help with their reporting and data, with a focus for automation - a passion for AI could be huge advantage here.
Responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience with Dayforce (Ceridian) payroll and HR tools – ability to make configuration changes and review/support customizations
- Strong experience in creating new reports in Dayforce.
- Experience in integrations with Dayforce and financial systems (Dynamics 365 a plus) – ability to review / test and support configuration changes
- Expert at working with system’s stakeholders to support new enhancement / functionality requests; business-value-based prioritization and justification; roll out mapping; and change management planning.
- Power BI experience is a plus
- Data Lake experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Team player / leader who takes initiative, is well organized and process driven, understands the need to prioritize and how to do so, strives for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in working with Dayforce (Ceridian) payroll and HR tools
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in/supporting an industrial services type of companies
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Multi-country support experience – preferably including Canada and United States
- Experience in union configurations in Dayforce.
- Ability to travel in US and Canada as needed
