Bricker Graydon is seeking a Michigan-licensed attorney to join its dynamic and fast-growing higher education practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in some of the following areas: higher education compliance, general business transactions, trusts and endowments, labor and employment, litigation, and nonprofit corporate governance. At least four years of experience as a lawyer is required. Demonstrated experience providing legal counsel to higher education clients is strongly preferred.
Effective candidates will have strong writing and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for university and college environments, and the ability to build and maintain relationships while providing sound legal and practical judgment.
Candidates should also possess excellent academic credentials, high ethical standards, strong writing, analytical and communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must possess strong project management skills and be able to work with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments.
